Success at the Worstead Festival

Last weekend, Mattressman proudly sponsored the Worstead Festival, and we are glad to report that the festival was a storming success! Over 8000 people attended the village festival over the weekend, and it was great to see so many people supporting a great cause.

Throughout the weekend, there was plenty of fun to be had around the arena. Whether it be eating some great Norfolk food, practicing your archery skills, or laughing at the classic Egg Roulette, there was plenty to see and do. Amongst all this excitement, we had our own games to unleash onto the Worstead Festival masses.

Firstly, we had pillow throwing in the main Ed Games arena. Any age could take part, and it proved a popular hit - the local Police even wanted to have a go! We ran a competition alongside this, and the two winners have bagged themselves a pair of memory foam pillows worth £40!

Alongside the pillow throwing, we ran our Bung a Bug competition. This turned out to be devilishly difficult, requiring a steady throw and pin-point accuracy. Nevertheless, we had plenty of winners who entered our prize draw, and one lucky winner also won a pair of memory foam pillows - well done you!

We had one more competition running over the weekend, and this was the big one.. We had a British Bed Company mattress to give away, with one question; how much feet of wire is inside the mattress..? We can tell you are all dying to know how much is in there, and we can announce that 3096 feet of wire is used!

We had lots of entrants, and can announce one lucky person guessed 3100! We are sure they will be getting plenty of restful nights sleep, and congratulations from everyone at Mattressman!

We have one last thing to report on, and that is a big well done to two members of the Mattressman team! The big race of the day took part in the Ed Games arena, with a lot of excitement building up to the event. This was the three-legged race, a race that normally brings many falls and laughs..

Two of our Sleep Squad members took part, and after a close race, came home in first place! As you can see, they were overjoyed with their victory, which was achieved to some expert apple bobbing from Jenny!

All in all, a great weekend was had by everyone, and we were proud to be a part of it once again. A big well done to the organisers of the event, and make sure you check out our Worstead Festival gallery for some great pictures of the weekend.

Hopefully see you next year!
