The new "Good-Night Guide" from the The Sleep Council was released last week, and us at Mattressman have been pondering over it these last few days.
The guide seems to really pinpoint how important sleep is to us in many ways.
Within the guide, there are a range of tips and information detailing the best way to give your body it's deserved amount of shut-eye.
The 7 main points the guide focuses on are:
- Your bedroom
- Your lifestyle
- Stress and worry
- Relaxation and other therapies
- Hormonal balance
The guide recommends a properly supportive mattress
to get a good nights rest- an uncomfortable bed can rob you of up to an hour's
sleep every night.
For those who resist getting a new bed
cause the old one still "works", this can be the difference between a good nights sleep and a bad night- with a tired and irritable day to follow.
The guide is in full colour, and makes a very interesting and useful read. If you feel like you want to improve your quality of sleep, or simply have an interest in your own health, it is well worth a read.
Give it a look!
