Following their launch last year, local company British Bed Company has gone from strength to strength, with their british made mattresses selling throughout the country and giving the local economy something to celebrate.
The British Bed Company have introduced two new mattresses for 2013 this week- one memory foam and one traditional:
Made in their Norwich factory, this new mattress is a natural wool and cotton blend- wool is well known for its warming qualities, and cotton for its cool breathability- together this makes a brilliantly temperature balanced mattress. With 1200 pocket springs for excellent support, the mattress has a medium firmness- great for a not-too-hard, not-too-soft feel. The finishes on the mattress showcase quality- a soft and strong Damask cover, deep hand tufts with wool toggles, Bulldog Border to reinforce the mattress border, and handles for easy turning.
The best thing about this mattress is it's the thickness layer of the Memory Foam
- at a super thick 75mm, this allows the body to be fully supported and comforted by the soft foam, whilst the firm tension gives a solid feel to the softness. Another unusual aspect of this mattress is the placement on the memory foam- this is located under a layer of super soft iSoft fibres, to counteract the heat that memory foam can give off, and give a more cushioned sleeping surface. With a knitted cover for increased air circulation, this keeps the mattress fresh and well aerated. Added features like wool hand tufts, a knitted cover for air circulation and a Bulldog Border, all give this mattress a quality feel and a long lifespan.
Both of these top-quality mattresses are under £500 in double size, and can be trusted to stand the test of time, with great British construction and quality.
