We're delighted that Mattressman has
been selected to be a member of The Sleep Council’s first ever
retailer panel – a group of 10 national and independent retailers –
to represent the bed retail industry.
This is the latest in a number of
exciting new developments for Mattressman, coming just a couple of
weeks after the launch of our new, mobile-friendly website, for which
early feedback has been very positive. We're pleased to be able to
add The Sleep Council's Retailer Panel logo to the website as we join
this important channel of communication between bedding retailers and
The Sleep Council, which will help direct and address issues that are
key to both of them.
“It’s important to us that the
marketing resources we develop and produce are what the retailers
actually want and need,” said Lisa Artis of The Sleep Council, an
established educational body that promotes the importance of a good
night’s sleep and offers advice on buying a new bed. “No one
knows more about the retailing industry than those in it, and their
knowledge will help focus and shape our marketing resources towards
what they want to see tackled. We’re also hoping our panel will
come forward with proactive ideas, as well as feeding back to us on
our annual awareness campaigns and what helps them to sell more
Andrew Kerry, Mattressman’s Managing
Director, is proud to be a part of the panel, saying: “I am
thrilled that Mattressman is involved with the Retailer Panel. We are
always trying new ideas to expand the business and express to our
customers just how important sleep is to their health and wellbeing.
I’m really looking forward to working with the Sleep Council over
the coming months to generate some excellent marketing material that
helps our customers to find a bed that is perfectly suited to them."
