We are delighted to announce that this year we have pledged to raise £25,000 for the Nook Appeal! East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) hope to build a purpose-built hospice, the Nook, for life-threatened children in East Anglia.
The Nook, which will be based just outside Norwich, will have some fantastic new features for the children and families who visit, including a larger and more accessible care area, hydrotherapy and sensory rooms, en-suite bathrooms for all bedrooms, a quiet “haven” and an outdoor play area. It’s a brilliant cause and we at Mattressman are really looking forward to playing our part in making the Nook a reality!
We have already donated £10,000 and have lots of ideas for how we can raise the other £15,000 over the course of the year. You can find out more about the Nook Appeal, as well as keep an eye on our progress as we work towards our fundraising goal, on our Nook Appeal page! Alternatively, you can have a look at EACH’s work at www.each.org.uk, or read more about our involvement here.
